“Maybe it's because I have taken a few courses before this, and therefore I have somehow adjusted to taking online lectures, but I will say that this is a really good course for the following reasons: 1) The lectures are tidbit - sized. This helps me not get overwhelmed with any new lecture. The discussions are also straightforward, and doesn't confuse the beginner with nuances that are difficult to grasp on top of the current lecture. 2) For each new topic, we go through multiple practice exercises. I am so grateful that this is the case, since it really drills down the topic before you move on to the next one. The same as for the practice exercises, it doesn't introduce new topics on top of the ones we are currently learning, preventing confusion. 3) We are presented with the use-cases first, the practical reason on why we need to use certain keywords and syntaxes. I find that it helps in note-taking, since I can reference my notes on when do I need to lookup certain keywords. Overall, I am amazed at how I was able to go through this course in a steady pace. There were one or two videos that I didn't fully understand at the start, but I've found that the explanations were given in the videos, I just have to take a break and re-watch them again.
